📱 iPhone & iPad Security

Check for unknown devices in Apple ID
Settings → [Your Name] → scroll down → review all devices. Remove any you don't recognize.

Review Location Services permissions
Settings → Privacy → Location Services. Look for apps with "Always" access that shouldn't have it.

Check for unknown configuration profiles
Settings → General → VPN & Device Management. Remove any profiles you don't recognize.

Review app permissions (Camera, Microphone)
Settings → Privacy → Camera and Microphone. Remove access for suspicious apps.

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
Settings → [Your Name] → Password & Security → Turn on Two-Factor Authentication.

Check for unknown devices in Google Account
myaccount.google.com → Security → Your devices. Remove unrecognized devices immediately.

Scan for stalkerware apps
Settings → Apps → Look for: mSpy, FlexiSPY, Cerberus, TheTruthSpy, KidsGuard, Hoverwatch.

Disable "Unknown sources" installation
Settings → Security → Install unknown apps. Ensure disabled for all browsers and apps.

Check accessibility services (screen readers)
Settings → Accessibility → Installed services. Stalkerware often hides here to record keystrokes.

Run Google Play Protect scan
Settings → Security → Google Play Protect → Run a full scan immediately.

Check iCloud access via web browser
icloud.com → Account Settings. Review all connected apps and devices.

Check Google Drive/Photos sharing
drive.google.com → Shared with me. Look for unexpected shared folders or files.

Review third-party app access
myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps. Revoke access for suspicious apps.

Check Find My iPhone / Find My Device status
Ensure location sharing is only with people you trust completely.

Check if your email was in a data breach
Visit haveibeenpwned.com and enter your email address. Change passwords immediately if breached.

Change passwords for all critical accounts
Email, banking, social media, cloud storage. Use strong, unique passwords (12+ characters).

Check for unknown email forwarding rules
Gmail: Settings → Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Outlook: Settings → Mail → Forwarding.

Use a password manager
Bitwarden or 1Password to generate and store unique passwords securely.
